The 2012 Festival of Pacific Arts is being held in the Solomon Islands, between 1-14 July. The festival is held every four years since 1972, and brings together artists and cultural practitioners from around the Pacific region for two weeks of festivity. It is recognised as a major regional cultural event, and is the largest gathering in which Pacific peoples unite to enhance their respect for and appreciation of one another within the context of the changing Pacific.

The Australia Council was responsible for the Australian Delegation and ARMEDIA designed and produced the 24-page catalogue as part of the Festival. The catalogue, designed by Creative Director, Deborah Kelly, is a stunning publication and highlights all the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and performers attending the Festival.
